Time is up....get on yer bike

The day has finally arrived, I just had to change my tyres as I had not realised how much tread had gone over the last few weeks of riding.  The last checks and clean of the bike is done. Gears degreased. Chain lubed. Brakes checked. Lights charged. Bags packed and route checked.

This is my version of a hard Brexit with a dramatic U turn at the Arc de Triomphe coupled with an attempt to re-enter across the border. I doubt very much they will let me in the state I will be in.
